Our Family
We have been married for over 30 years and we are loving our empty-nest stage of life. We have three incredible adult children, one amazing son-in-law, one VERY perfect granddaughter, and one beautiful golden retriever (Prince Caspian, who almost certainly counts as a kid!) Our oldest, Madison, graduated in 2016 from Dallas Baptist University with a BA in Communication Theory and she married Garrett in 2017 in a dreamy outdoor wedding. They are now "adulting" in the DFW area. She works for Visit Frisco and he is a firefighter in Irving. They recently had their first child and they are loving this new parenting stage! Landon, our oldest son, recently graduated with a BS in Ecology for Environmental Sciences from UNT-Denton and he is working in Houston as a Health and Sleep Coach. Our youngest son graduated in May 2020 from Baylor University and is the Technical Director at a church in Conroe.
Christine was the director/teacher of a women’s in-depth Bible study ministry Community Bible Study for 5 years before becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor. She loves spontaneous road trips, running (she is a 5 time half marathon-er), keeping up with her Aggie friends, reading, doing anything in the great outdoors, writing, and taking long walks with their dog. Chris loves ALL things C.S. Lewis, restoring their vintage campers, reading, making balloon animals, tinkering in the garage, and bringing broken things to life. Together, they enjoy hiking, working in the yard, crazy loud game nights with friends, traveling around in their vintage teardrop camper, and hanging out with their kids.
