spiritually exhausted? Weary and burned out?

SPiritual Recovery Therapeutic Intensive

Ministry can be brutal on a marriage.  Oftentimes, pastors and ministry staff members have few places where they can talk safely and openly about their marriage struggles.

“When we deny our pain, losses, and feelings year after year, we become less and less human. We transform slowly into empty shells with smiley faces painted on them. But when I began to allow myself to feel a wider range of emotions, including sadness, depression, fear, and anger, a revolution in my spirituality was unleashed.”

At Cultivating Relationships: Spiritual Recovery, we offer true hope and real help to couples who are exhausted or feel alone, especially in ministry. With 28 years of experience on church staff and with some significant spiritual wounding in their past, Chris and Christine have a unique understanding of the complexities of being a ministry family. They have walked the tough road of facing the challenges of marriage and parenting battlegrounds in the proverbial “church staff glass house”.

Sometimes attending marriage counseling once a week for 10 weeks can be a tough fit for couples in ministry.  A Spiritual Recovery Intensive retreat provides 8-10 hours of counseling in a 36 hour period. These retreats can be tailored to your needs. They can be scheduled during the week or could provide a relaxing weekend getaway.
